OBS Studio-31.1.0-Beta 1 Brings you a Video Multitrack Linux

The good news for the community of film and video production on Linux! With the OBS Studio-31.1.0-Beta 1 has been released for testing purposes, and brings a robust set of new features to the popular app’s recording and video streaming of the open-source code.

The big news for Linux users, there is the long-awaited support for-Video Multitrack. This feature, which is available for Windows, from the OBS Studio 30.2 released in July of 2024, it has finally come to us.

For those who do live streaming (streamer), it is the ability to send multiple versions of a video to different levels of quality. This feature is crucial in order to provide a viewing experience that’s optimized for most people, and adapt to the ability of the connection to each of the viewer – that’s Twitch, for example, calls it ‘the Enhanced Broadcasting.

This is the beta version is packed full of improvements and additions to the important ones:
